Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, material and perform all operations necessary to provide and install two (approx. 100 psi) steam boilers behind Facility 583, to provide steam for nine facilities and a NASA wind tunnel. Provide and install a hot water boiler to serve Facility 635. Provide and install a (low pressure) steam boiler to serve Facility 658 (Gynmasium and Indoor Swimming Pool). The boiler at Facility 635 is to be housed in an existing structure. Structures will have to be constructed to house the other two boilers, as a part of this project at Langley AFB VA. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. SIC code is 1711. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two repsondents that cause the soliciation to be 100% set-aside for SDB concesn in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acqusition Regulations should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financal assets or line of credit, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action, and a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability are required and must be current and not dated any ealier than 90 days from the date of you response. Also, it is requested that any interest SDB concerns indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this soliciation will be issued as unrestricted without futher notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. All firms are requested to indicate if their interest is as prime, subcontractor or supplier.
