The work consists of general construction of 2 single story buildings, railroad spur, railroad car unloading dock and ramp, vehicle weighing facility, vehicle parking and drive areas, ammunition staging area and associated site improvements and incidental related work. Building construction includes CMU walls, pre-engineered metal building system, concrete slab-on-grade foundation with open pit water collection, and mechanical vehicle washing equipment. Site construction includes concrete paving, asphalt paving, concrete ammo pads, fencing and gates, utility service connections, concrete structures, new railroad rails and connections to existing rails, and site drainage grading. There will be five 180 day bid options. Bid Item 0001 will be for the Wharf Alpha Vehicle Wash Facility Building, including Service Utilities and Asphalt Paving adjoining the Building. Bid Item 0002 will be for the Vehicle Weighing Facility Structures, including Scale Foundation, Installation of GFCI Scales, Metal Control Building, and Service Utilities. Bid Item 0003 will be to Provide one acre of 12 Inch Thick Concrete Paving slab and 6 Inch Thick Stabilized Aggregate Base. Bid Item 0004 will be to Provide Two Acres of 12 Inch Thick Concrete Paving Slab and 6 Inch Thick Stabilized Aggregate Base. Bid Item 0005 will be for the Ammo Staging Area.
