6.302-1, Honeywell, Inc is the only known source that can meet the
government's minimum essential requirements for a Integrated Flight
Management Unit (IFMU). The IFMU uses inertial and GPS measurements to
provide navigation information to a munition's guidance system. The
inertial information (pitch, yaw, and roll) is sensed by an Inertial
Measurement Module which consists of a Honeywell HG 1700 Inertial
Measurement Unit (1deg/hr) with associated processing electronics to
output velocity and attitude data. The GPS function is performed by a
Interstate Electronics Corporation Embedded GPS Receiver (EGR) Module
with fast acquisition capability ((30 sec time to first fix). In
addition, the EGR receives both L1 and L2 GPS signals for
Precision-code accuracy, as well as receives and processes encrypted
Y-code GPS signals. The IFMU hosts an Intel 80960 based System
Processor Module which, provides greater than 4 MIPS performance. In
addition, the IFMU processor has a minimum, .5 MB RAM and 1.0 MB
EEPROM/PROM with 50% transfer alignment algorithms, and autopilot.
Inherent I/O capability includes at least 2 each RS-422 and
MIL-STD-1553B interfaces, 4 each Digital-to-Analog and
Analog-to-Digital channels, and 8 each 5V discretes. Required delivery
