TACOM is seeking all reponsible sources intere sted in qualifying their tire for radialization of them871a2, M872 and M872a1. The mission profiles of these vehicles are: 75% primary, 20% secondary, 5% off-Road;75% primary, 25% secondary; and 45% primary, 40% secondary, 15% off-Road, respectively. TACOM will provide the vendor with feedback on the results of the test. The te St will tentatively be scheduled this fall. The testing will consist of Field testing at Yuma Proving Grounds or Government approved Proving Grounds. The tires will be tested for: (1) ride handling and stability. (2) evasive maneuver. (3) braking. (4) treadlife durability. (5) traction (for M872a1 only). Closing date for submissi on of responses is fifteen (15) calendar days from publ ication of this notice.
