This is a Solicitation notice. This notice was presolicited under DAHA28-94-R-0004. The corrected solicitation number is DAHA28-95-B-0001. The New Jersey National Guard proposes to award a contract for the construction of a Consolidated New Jersey National Guard Headquarters in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The proposed construction consists of a two story permanent masonry addition and drill hall. This solicitation provides for multiple line items and additive bids, of which must be addressed in order to be considered for this solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is betwen $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted. Only prime contractors should reply. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification number is 1542. All request for solicitation package must include solicitation number, point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Bidders must also identify their status as small disadvantaged business (SDB), emerging small business (ESB), section 8(a) small business act contractors, small business, or large business. Women-owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are enouraged to compete. A non refundable charge of $150.00 is required for each solicitation package. Only two solicitation packages will be issued per contractor. Requests for bid documents must be in writing accompanied by a check made payable to the U.S. Treasury.
