This requirement is for Flight Termination Receiver/Decoders NAVAIR P/N 642AS8859. Total quantity of receiver/decoders is 14 each, including 2 each First Article units. The receiver/decoders are frequency-modulated, B-band, solid state command receiver/decoders capable of receiving and decoding up to three simultaneous Inter Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) tones in accordance with Government Statement of Work and drawings. Several permutations of tone sets 1.2,5; 3,7,6 and 4,9,8 with carrier frequencies of 425 MHz and 428 MHz are specified. The receiver/decoders shall operate from +22 to +36 volts DC. Normal Sensitivity shall be two microvolts RMS to 1.0 volts RMS. Image frequency rejection and spurious frequency response rejection shall be 60 dB minimum. The intermediate frequency (IF) band width shall be 180 KHz at the -3 dB points and 360 KHz at the -60 dB points. The unit shall operate at the -54 to + 77 degrees Celsius. Random vibration to 0.6 g^2 in all aces and directions shall not degrade performance below minimum requirements. Receiver outputs shall include MONITOR OUTPUT, OPTIONAL COMMAND, ARM COMMAND, TERMINATE COMMAND, AND RF SIGNAL STRENGTH, as well as their associated return lines. Delivery is FOB destination to the Naval Air Weapons Station, Point Mugu, CA 93042. Deliver 2 each First Article units within 90 days after contract award. Deliver 12 each production units within 180 days after contract award.
