Z -- REPLACE 300 TON CHILLER SOL DMA700-95-B-0013 DUE 091595 POC Debbie Neustadt/Contract Specialist or James E. Martin/Contracting Officer at (314)263-8028 Z - The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the removal of a 300 ton chiller and the installation of a 600 ton chiller, a 625 ton cooling tower and a 5 kilovolt substation. Related mechanical work will include the removal and installation of the chilled water pump, condenser water pump, chilled and condenser water piping, valving and corresponding energy management controls. Additional work shall be the installation of a new 5KV substation and transformer. This work will include but not be limited to the 5KV supply conductors, 5KV vacuum breakers, low voltage components, secondary conductors, substation, transformer, underground concrete ductbank, manhole and various secondary electrical devices necessary for the installation of the 600 ton chiller and the 625 ton cooling tower. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the project specifications, schedules, and drawings, as well as, all applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA, Federal, State, Local, and OSHA requirements. The estimated cost is between $5000,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period for this project is 270 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of government services.
