Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: REPAIR TENNIS COURTS/ALTER SOFTBALL FIELD/CONSTRUCT RECREATION PAVILION. SOL Projects JLSS 92-0011 A/B and JLSS 92-0013. DUE 091895. Work includes, but isnot limited to, providing all labor, equipment, and testing necessary to repair and resurface one existing tennis court and replace net and poles; demolish one existing tennis court and replace with a regulation sand volleyball court; install one new regulation horseshoe pit; alter existing softball field by installing underdrains and regrading; install a new higher fence; install a new sports lighting system including foundations, poles and power circuits; improve existing dugouts with brick veneer; demolish existing recreation pavilion; construct new pavilion including structural, electrical and mechanical work; install new sanitary sewer line; extend utilities into new pavilion; repair and repave disturbed road surfaces; and landscaping. Perform work under a single lump-sum firm fixed price contract. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents and specifications. Solicitation package available o/a 18 Aug 95. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). The Government requires a 60-day bid acceptance period. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition, without further notice.
