The Coronado National Forest, Santa Catalina Ranger District, Pima County, Arizona, is issuing Request for Proposals. This work includes a design/build contract to construct a Visitor Center, remodel the existing facility and to provide miscellaneous site work, including sidewalks. The prospective contractor will be required to design and construct the structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for the Visitor Information Center, which will be attached to the existing building. Upon award of a contract, the contractor will prepare a complete set of construction documents ready for construction execution. The contractor will be selected by source selection process. All interested offerors will be provided with minimum government specifications and drawings which will be incorporated into the resultant contract in addition to the drawings from the offeror who's technical/price proposal was selected for award. The offerors will be evaluated on price and other non-price technical/management criteria. Technical factors will include but are not limited to, the evaluation of the designed proposal, experience and qualifications, and project schedule. Award may be made from initial proposals. This procurement is unrestricted. Period of performance is estimated to be 180 days with work to commence no later than September 11, 1995. (186)
