This requirement is to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, services, transportation, and supervision necessary to revise the Raw Water Intake Structure recycle pump at both the Big Hill and Bayou Choctaw Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Storate Sites. There are separate SOWs for each site. The SOW at the Bayou Choctaw Site requires the complete demolition, removal, fabrication, installation, cleaning, testing and painting of all piping, support foundations, structural steel, electrical items, instrumentation, wiring, conduit and duct banks to accomplish the construction of a new recycle line that includes a new automatic flow and pressure control valve, and Government-furnished pressure transmitter and flow meter. The SOW for the Big Hill Site requires the complete demolition, removal, fabrication, installation, cleaning, testing and painting of all piping, support foundations, structural steel, electrical items, instrumentation, wiring, conduit and duct banks to accomplish revisions to the existing recycle line that includes a new automatic flow and pressure control valve, Government-furnished pressure transmitter and flow meter, and an 8-inch flow tube to provide back pressure to the control valve and reduce the pressure in the diffuser. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Sol will be issued on or about July 27, 1995. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set of plans and specifications is required. Checks should be payable to the US Department of Energy/SPR Project Management Office.
