R -- JONES LAND EXCHANGE ARCH SITE MIGITATION ON THE HUMBOLDT NATIONAL FOREST Sol RFP R4-09-95-03 Due 082395 Contact Ethel Hill, 208-364-4128. This project will consist of excavating, evaluatiing and generating reports for two prehistoric sites (lithic scatters/campsites) and the performance of archival research and large format camera photography with printing to archival standards on one historic site (wagon road) with report of research. The Contractor will be required to write research design for excavation, anlaysis and report for prehistoric sites. Estimated 10-15 days of field work and 20 days of report writing per prehistoric site. Estimated two days field work, five days archieve research and five days of report writing for the historic site. The historic site will be required to be completed no later than 12/31/95 and the two historic sites, depending upon availability of funds, will have a field completion date of 7/31/96 with final reports no later than 12/31/96. The project is located approximately 25 miles northeast of Elko, Nevada in the east 1/2 of S 12, T33N, R58E. See Numbered Note #1. (186)
