The USDA Forest Service, Geometronics Service Center in Salt Lake City, UT is advertising for On-Call computer maintenance for Intergraph hardward and software. The current automated mapping environment consists of a variety of Intergraph Corporation RISC based workstations and servers. These systems use the CLIN(UNIX)-POSIX operating system with advanced windowing capability. Output is sent to a Versatec electrostatic plotter. Final map layers are output to an Intergraph Mapsetter 5000 or Optronics 4040 film writer. All work stations and servers are connected via a Local Area Network (LAN) using TCPIP and XNS protocols. This maintenance will consist of a base year and four option years. Solicitation will be issued approximately 7/24/95.
