J -- MATERIAL AND SERVICES FOR THE AN/UYA-4(V) AND AN/UYQ-21(V) SOL N00024-95-NR-05834 POC 02512H, Wanda M. Hanshaw, (703) 602-8105; Contracting Officer, Mr. Thomas Bikowski. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-5100 with Hughes Aircraft Company, 1901 West Malvern Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92634-3310. Orders will be issued for the material and services, including Training, Design, Fabrication and Preparation of Field Change Kits and performance of overhaul for the AN/UYA-1(V), AN/SYA-4(V), and AN/UYQ-21(V) Navy Tactical Data Systems Equipment. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Hughes Aircraft Company is currently the only manufacturer (sole producer) with the design and production knowledge to provide the required services. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the task described herein, nor will any other supplier or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
