Service shall include Preventive and Remedial Maintenance and Calibration of Government owned medical research equipment to include microscopes, analyzers, balances, etc. of the following manufacturers: Boehring Mann, Radiometer, Biomerieux, Kevex/Fisons, Waters, Zeiss, Packard Instruments, Shandon Lipshaw, Perimed, Shimadzu, Leitz, M, Bioanalytical Systems, Varian Instruments, Perkin Elmer, SLM Aminco, Pharmacia, Zymark, Olympus, Nikon, Wild, Lablorlux, Gilson, American Optic, Mettler, Ohaus, Sartorius, Apple Scientific, Sklar, Fisher, Buxco Electronic, Molecular Dynamics, TM Analytical, LKB, Cambridge, Reichert-Jung, and Gould Electronics. Offerors must have a minimum of three years experience servicing the equipment and provide their own schematics and maintenance manuals. Offerors are to list those items they cannot maintain and list the types of equipment they do maintain. Offerors shall provide technically qualified personnel in electronics to assist medical maintenance personnel four hours per week to maintain a quality assurance program for the equipment, and to maintain records and files for services performed. Interested contractors are to submit their technical capabilities within 10 days of publication of this notice.
