The solicitation packages will be available on July 24, 1995 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 22, 1995. The successful bidder will be responsible for instructing interested inmates in knowledge necessary to the practice of the faith and in the practical application of their faith to better themselves as persons. The Rabbi will lead worship and/or devotions to deepen the inmate's spirituality and to train them in proper Jewish worship practices. The resulting contract will be a one year contract, starting 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation.
