This is an announcement that the US Army Communications-Electronics Command has canceled Solicitation No. DAAB07-95-R-D004 and that the solicitation will be revised and re-issued via the CECOM Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) approximately Aug 95. The CECOM EBB will be utilized to post draft solicitation documentation and to provide a weekly program summary. The Program summary will be posted on the first business day of each week beginning the week following this accouncement. FOL DESCRIPTION: The FOL System Specification A3165828, dated 2 NOV 94, is currently being revised. Significant changes to this specification are as follows: (1) Modularity is not a requirement, (2) remote control is to be accomplished via 25 meter cable (wireless remote is not required), (3) Manpack and Vehicle speakers are required to be dismounted from system a distance of 50 feet (cable note included in weight), (4) stand shall be adjustable from four to ten feet, (5) frequency response, total harmonic distortion, and reliability requirements are currently under review.
