Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to remove and replace all existing exterior doors, frames, hardware, closers and automatic door opener units at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles West of Downtown Chicago.) Work will include, but is not limited to the reinstallation to the existing door security system, wall masonry/repair, painting, wall papering and restoration of the existing walls to their original condition. Work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawing(s) and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after July 21, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompained by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for Aug. 3, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for August 24, 1995, at 1:30pm local time.
