Project includes but is not limited to providing all transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, labor and materials necessary to modify existing piping, installation of new piping and appurtenances, restoration of disturbed paved and turfed ares in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the Technical Provisions and Drawings for this project, JFSD# 930072. Plans and specifications for this project will be issued only on 3 1/2'' computer disk. Plans will be AutoCADD 12 files and specifications will be Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0 files. A list of suggested local firms able to print these documents will be available. The magnitude is between $25K and $100K. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 03 Jul 95. This notification must include a disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and fnancial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 10 Jul 95. All requests must be in writing and must include the business size (small or large) and whether they are women owned or disadvantaged. (184)
