The Missouri National Guard desires a firm fixed-price contract for removal and replacement of underground storage tanks and oil water separators located at Lambert Field, St. Louis, MO. Work consists of removal of three underground storage tanks and associated piping and fuel dispensing systems. Tanks include one 5,000 gallon diesel, one 3,000 gallon unleaded, and one 2,000 gallon unleaded tank. Replace with above ground storage tank fueling system to include a 5,000 gallon diesel storage and a 5,000 gallon unleaded storage. Project also includes removal of one 250 gallon waste water tank which collects groundwater from two underground valve boxes. Valve boxes shall be waterproofed to prevent leakage; and remove three existing oil/water separators and replace with double walled, cathodically protected oil water separators with interstitial monitoring. In addition, interstitial monitoring shall be added to two existing oil/water separators. Estimated bid opening date is August 31, 1995. The construction performance period is 180 calendar days. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid with shall be considered by this agency. A non-refundable deposit of $20.00 is required.
