The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide grounds maintenance and landscaping services in accordance with the specification. The operations to be performed shall include cutting and trimming grass; edging; fertilization; collection and disposal of debris; sodding; tree, plant, shrub and flowerbed pruning, cultivation and mulching; tree and stump removal; tree, plant and shrub planting; weed control and other miscellaneous services as described in the specification. A bid bond and performance and payment bonds are required. This acquisition is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contract office above evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone numbers, points of contact, and contract numbers), statement indicating bonding capability, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Bid opening date is approximate. Requests for copies of this solictation should be received by the issuing office not later than 10 days of listing of this synopsis in the Commerce Business Daily.
