The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and performing all operations in connection with the layout of overrun and new runway markings (if required) and the application of traffic paints and reflective media to airfield pavement surfaces at Avon Park Air Force Range. The contractor will be required to provide verification of 5 - 10 years experience in this type of work, along with 3 positive letters of reference from former clients. The work is located at Avon Park Air Force Range, FL and will be bid as a lump sum contract. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 July 1995. The bid opening date will be on or about 31 August 1995. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 pecent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. SDB concerns interested in having project set-aside should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing previous project references of similar type work, bonding capacity and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concerns.
