The work includes the furnishing of all necessary labor, material and equipment to construct an aircraft wash rack, a metal parachute drying tower, modify bldgs. 313 & 632, construct a pre-eng metal storage shed, replace hangar doors with o/h hoist-up fabric doors, install fencing and gate, work includes electrical, plumbing, new concrete, structural steel, securing windows and minor demolition and all incidental related work. Estimated cost $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Work is located at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. Plans and Specs available o/a 06JUL95. There is no charge for plans and specs. Requests for solicitation must be received NLT 26JUL95. This procurement is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, not later than 05JUL95, indicate interest by providing to the above contracting office all the following requirements: (1) A positive statement requesting this project be set-aside for SDB firms; (2) A positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, indicating your ethnic group; (3) A current letter from your bonding company stating they will bond this project, referencing the title and solicitation number of this project; (4) Several references including phone numbers and point of contact from similar projects. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted, without further notice.
