Z -- REMOVE AND INSTALL WINDOWS WITH SCREENS, VARIOUS FAMILY HOUSING AREAS, FORT RICHARDSON, ALASKA Sol. DAHC76-95-B-0029. Due 082895. Points of Contact, Contract Specialist, Hope D. The Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and perform all work including work of an incidental nature to remove and install windows with screens for Family Housing, Fort Richardson, Alaska, in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. This project includes but is not limited to: (1) removal of drapery, drapery hardware, window shades, shade beackets, window accessories; (2) removal of existing trim; (3) removal of existing windows; (4) removal of existing vapor barrier, insulation, shims and miscellaneous items directly involved with the removal of windows; (5) remove all existing ``L'' metal; (6) removal of TV antennas, staffs and associated mounting blocks and hardware; (7) installation of a new casement, aluminum-clad, wood window with window screens as per drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturer's written instructions; (8) installation of windows; (9) installation of new alunimum panning and or aluminum window trim on exterior; (10) installation of new insulation shims, caulking, and miscellaneous items directly involved for the complete installation of new window units; (11) installation of new painted wood trim on interior; (12) patching or painting required on interior or exterior to ensure proper appearance of new windows; (13) installation of new venetion blinds; (14) reinstall, to their original location, drapery, drapery hardware, and all other hardware and items effected by the window change within twelve inches (12'') perimeter around the new window. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 AND $5,000,000. This requirement is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and the applicable SIC code is 1751 ($7.0 million). Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made until appropriated funds are available from which payment for contract purposes can be made. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency. (181)
