V -- CHARTER SERVICE FOR STUDY OF HARLEQUIN DUCKS IN PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND Sol FWS 7-95-13 due 071595. Contact Point, Contracting Officer, Nettie J. Gorder, 907/786-3439. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has need to procure a Charter Service in Prince William Sound from August 15, 1995, to September 15, 1995. Charter Service will depart and end at Whitter Port. The boat shall serve as a support vessel requiring sleeping quarters for six crews members, and mess service for up to nine crew members, with flexible meal time and snacks. Two hundred square feet of work space on deck and interior work space. Fuel storage up to 500 gallons, furnished by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Must have easy access to and from skiffs and a 25 foot whaler. Crew must consist of a licensed captain and a crewman to serve as cook and assist with loading gear and supplies. Request for Quotes will be issued approximately July 19, 1995. It is anticipated that a purchase order will be awarded under the Simplied Acquisition Threshold with the selection of low quote that meets the specifications and the inspection of safety items as specified in the Request for Quotes.
