The Research Management Office (RMO) of the National Aeronautics and
and Space Administration's Johnson Space Center has a requirement for
research and develpment of facility-class payloads of the International
Space Station Program Office. This office is staffed with individuals
specialized in the following research disciplines: Life Science, Micro-
gravity Science (e.g. Materials, Fluids, and Combustion), Earth
Science, Space Science, Engineering, and Space Processing. RMO requires
assessment of International Space Station capabilities and their impact
on research, to prepare and deliver required reports, and to organize,
conduct, particpate in, and publish results of studies and workshops.
Analytical skills are necessary to assess resource capabilities of the
International Space Station as they are developed, determine impacts to
users, and develop a comprehensive payload manifesting plan. Science
review, workshops, and studies will be conducted to maintain an
effective communications interface with users relating to the
International Space Station research capabilities and plans. The
Government contemplates a sole source contract with SAIC corporation.
