Z -- ASBESTOS REMOVAL, BARRE FALLS DAM/BIRCH HILL DAM, HUBBARDSTON AND ATHOL, MASSACHUSETTS SOL DACW33-95-B-0079 DUE 090695 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of removing 30 LF of 3/4-inch diameter and 142 LF of 2-inch diameter abandoned asbestos insulated steel pipe, removing about 40 CY of asbestos contaminated batt and blown-in insulation, disposing of various asbestos contaminated storage items, and decontaminating various asbestos contaminated storage items from attic spaces. The work also involves providing and installing 2,015 SF of new 6-inch thick fiberglass batt insulation in attic spaces. The proposed contract listed here is a 100% small business set-aside. Estimated cost of the work is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 080195 at a cost of $15.00 per set.
