Project includes but is not limited to providing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to repair sewer lines at five Missile Alert Facilities. Work to include excavating, removing and replacing existing sewer lines and clean outs from Missile Alert Facility to the Logoon and refurbishing two lift stations which includes rebuilding existing pumps, sandblasting and painting lift pit and all other work in strict accordance with the Technical Provisions and Drawings for project, JFSD# 946002P2. Plans and specifications will be issued in hard copy. The magnitude is between $50,000 and $250,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 12 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 24 Jul 95. All requests must be in writing and must include the business size (small or large) and whether they are women owned or disadvantaged. (178)
