The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform all operations in connection with Base Paving. Work consists of the construction, repair or replacement of asphalt and concrete roads, sidewalks, curbs and gutters. Work is located on Mountain Home AFB and two remote sites Saylor Creek and Grasmere(Idaho). The total performance period for this project is for a period of one year after issuance of Notice to Proceed with four option years. The contractor will be guaranteed a minimum amount of $30,000 for the basic year and each option year. The maximum amount for this contract is $500,000 for the basic year and each option year. Requests for solicitation must be made in writing and include telephone number, fax number, large, small, or small disadvantaged business (SDB). This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 14 JUL 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Project requirements will be made available O/A 18 JUL 95.
