Wiggins, Contracting Officer, 301/415-7328 The contractor shall design, develop, and furnish course materials for two courses: Acquisition for NRC Project Managers; and a half-day course for Supervisors and Managers of Project Managers. The contractor shall be required to (1) revise existing agency acquisition training by replacing the current five-day course entitled ''Acquisition for Project Managers'' with a one- day overview and ten individual training modules; (2) update the current one-day course entitled ''Acquisition for Supervisors and Managers of Project Managers''; (3) ensure that course materials include practical, hands- on orientation that addresses application of a single agency-wide standard of contracting for both Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory agreements and commercial contracts; (4) ensure that the course materials provided reflect NRC's current acquisition environment, its policy and process; and (5) highlight the principles embodied in the highest standards for effective and efficient acquisition program management. The period of performance is 36 months. The proposed action is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC Code for this solicitation is 8299. The size standard for this solicitation is average annual receipts not to exceed 3.5 million dollars over the past three years. Copies of RFP RS-PER-95-285 will be issued on or about July 24, 1995.
