This will be a non-personal service contract to provide emergency room physicians for Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Upcoming solicitation will be for a basic contract (one year) with four option years. Issue date will be on or about 24 Jul 95 with a bid opening date of 31 Aug 95. All requests must be in writing. No collect calls or telephone requests will be accepted. The resultant contractor shall possess the following qualifications as a minimum: (1) Must have graduated from an accredited medical school; (2) Must have a minimum of one year experience in acute care or emergency medicine and currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); (3) Must have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS); (4) Must have credentials approved by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Credentials Committee; (5) Must possess a valid license in one of the 50 states; District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, Guam or Puerto Rico and (6) Be able to speak and write English fluently. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this solicitation is 8011. (177)
