M -- OPERATION OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED FACILITIES POC Marlena Clark, Contracting Officer, 615/576-0759 It is the intent of the DOE Oak Ridge Operations Office to extend Contract DE-AC05-90OR21907 with Johnson Controls World Services, Inc., up to an additional six months beyond the contract term in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The contract extension will allow DOE to continue receiving the services currently being provided while the reprocurement of the services is taking place. Services include operation and maintenance of a 28 million-gallon per day potable-water plant; operation and maintenance of an equipment repair shop for the maintenance and repair of government-owned equipment and motor vehicles; inspection and maintenance of paved roads and grounds; and maintenance of office, storage and production buildings. Support activities such as health, safety and environment, quality assurance, engineering, construction, personnel, purchasing, and accounting are also required in support of the above functions.
