Chairs, 60 each, plus an option quantity of 4 each, in accordance with Burlingham International's part # 52120 or equal. Some of the required features are: swivel, lock in place on floor of unit, lower and raise, removable arms, five casters with metal hoods, etc. The chairs are to be used in mobile/modular equipment in the field. They must lock in place and have removable arms in order to fit into a compact storage space while being moved from site to site. Other required salient characteristics will be provided in the solicitation package. Delivery by October 1996. This procurement is part of the Navy's Contractor Evaluation System, Red/Yellow/Green Program. While price is is a factor in the evaluation of offerors, the final contract award decision will be based on a combination of factors, including historical quality performance of the contractor whose price is being evaluated.
