Alatorre, (310)297-0197 Provide all labor, equipment, services and materials required to install a single package air conditioner of 17-1/2 ton capacity and to modify ductwork in the exisiting air conditioning system, for the Bakersfield ASR-8 located in Bakersfield, Ca. Work includes but is not limited to: sheetmetal ductwork, concrete placement, insulation, electrical and control, and other related work. All work shall be in strict accordance with FAA plans and specifications. Invitation for Bid (IFB) DTFA08-95-B-04753 will be available approximately 07/27/95, with a public bid opening 30 days thereafter. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1711. This notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
