Miller, Contracting Officer, 301/443-2475 The Public Health Service has a requirement to perform a nationwide evaluation of the Indian Health Service (IHS) substance abuse treatment program for adult women. The effort will focus on the impact that IHS-supported projects have had on women clients over time and the identification of practices which appear to contribute to a diminution of substance abuse. The effort will include a longitudinal assessment of women clients of the IHS-supported centers. This requirement is restricted to 100% Indian-Owned firms pursuant to the authority of the Buy-Indian Act (25 USC 47) and PHSAR 380-5. The anticipated period of performance is 33 months from the effective date of contract award.
