Contracting Officer, 201-724-3125. The U.S. Army ARDEC has the need for
the capability to manufacture extruded shapes from steel alloys. The
extruded shape desired has six symmetrically spaced blades protruding
from a center hub. The hub is a solid core of 22.7 mm diameter; the
blades extend from the hub for a minimum distance of 29 mm. The
thickness of the blades is to be approximately 2.75 mm. The minimum
length of the extrusion is to be 126 mm. Desired steel alloys should
have moderate strength and hardness, corrosion resistance, and
