15 -- FLIGHT TEST POC Contact, Tracey Lee Logan, Phone (703)604-0903 Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with TRW Avionics and Surveillance Group, One Rancho Carmel, San Diego, CA, for flight testing of the Joint Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (JT-UAV). Under a previous contract, TRW has modified the hardware and softwre of a JT-UAV air vehicle in order to integrate an automatic recovery system into the JT-UAV system. This effort is to verify the performance of the integrated automated recovery system. TRW is the designer, developer, and integrator of the JT-UAV system and is the only known firm with the knowledge and technical data to test the automated recovery system.
