S-6 Building Water Intrusion, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Project YWHG 92-006B1. Project involves removing ten large underground tunnels leading from the lower floor level to the exterior paved area and adding stairs at both ends. Work also includes adding walls at each end with standing seam roofing over each area, some additional mechanical work will be needed for the covered area. This project falls in the bidding range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. The performance period is 360 calendar days from notice-to-proceed. This project is being funded as advance contracting. The SIC code for this project is 1542. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid no later than 10 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern,evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
