Pilson, Contracting Officer, (202) 634-4567 The Energy Information Administration, Office of Oil and Gas, of the U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a contract to Petroconsultants, S.A., Geneva, Switzerland to provide comprehensive hard copy data for oil and gas fields and reservoirs. This will be a single, one time purchase of the latest available data with no future updates required. The data will be used jointly by the Energy Information Administration and the U.S. Geological Survey. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for Competitive Proposals, however, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
