16 -- HIGH POWER TRANSMIT SET FOR E-6A AIRCRAFT POC Contact, Jan K. Wisor, Phone (703)604-1920 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a contract to Rockwell International, Communications Systems Division, Richardson, Texas for High Power Transmitter Set (HPTS) production units and related requirements such as but not limited to technical data, integrated logistics support, technical manuals, training services/support and spare parts. The requirement is for four each HPTS production kits and four each installation kits for the base year. The contract will include two option years for an additional four production units and installation kits the first option year and three production units and installation kits the second option year. Deliveries of the required supplies and services shall commence 18 months after contract award. Rockwell International is the only source with the requisite knowledge and experience in design, development, production and testing of this equipment capable of providing the requirements in a timely and effective manner.
