Medical surveillance and evaluation of employees of the Maritime
Administration, James River Reserve Fleet, Fort Eustis, VA. Services
are required for approximately 105 persons, on an annual or emergent
basis and include: asbestos/occupational exams with x-rays and ''B''
reader reports, blood lead, ZPP and PSA tests; preplacement, fitness
for duty and preseparation exams with functional capacity evaluations,
tetanus toxoid and diptheria toxoid vaccinations, tuberculosis skin
tests, liver function studies, high blood pressure testing, post
injury/accident drug and alcohol testing and specialized testing (such
as asbestosis) as required. Annual training and recertifi- cation of
EMT personnel for CPR and bloodbourne pathogens, hepatitis vaccinations
for EMT personnel; occupational training consisting of ''back school''
and cholesterol/blood pressure awareness as needed. Exams/ testing
shall be conducted at the contractor's facility, which shall be within
10 miles of the James River Reserve Fleet measured in road miles
traveled by automobile. Offeror's proposing to perform services at a
facility outside the 10-mile limit will not be considered. The contract
will include a base year, plus four (4) one-year options; estimated
start 10/1/95. All requests must be in writing; may be telefaxed to

disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are
available under the DOT Short Term lending Program (STLP)at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
