H -- UPGRADE OF TURNSTILES. Sol DAKF11-95-R-0014. Contract Specialist, Diane T. Biddy, 404-362-7512. Contractor to furnish all personnel, supervision and any other items/services necessary to upgrade existing turnstiles located at the front and rear entrances of Marshall Hall, Building 200, Fort McPherson, Georgia. Existing revolving arm type turnstiles are to be replaced with walk thru optical type turnstiles. Optical turnstiles shall be compatible with the Ultra 208 Security Badge System currently being used. Existing turnstiles shall be removed. The Government anticipates that a credit or price reduction on the new equipment will be offered as a part of the upgrade. There shall be two walkways at both entrances with a total of eight card readers. Turnstiles shall be bi-directional in each lane. Individuals must card in and out of facility at all times. Optical turnstiles shall be asthetically pleasing while maintaining maximum security at both front and rear entrances. The style and colors shall harmonize with foyer entrances (Shades of gray). Card readers must be positioned in an asthetically pleasing location on each optical turnstile, and must be able to read existing Card Key cards. Card reader colors must match optical turnstile colors. Dimensions: Height - 38-40''; Width - 8'' maximum; Length - 36-48''.
