The U.S. Army Engineer Division, Huntsville has a requirement for the procurement of 74 each MicroFridge MF-7 refrigerator, freezer, and microwave oven combination to be delivered to Fort Irwin, California by 15 August 1995. MicroFridge, One Merchant Street, Sharon, MA 02067, is the only known source for this requirement. The proposed product offers the required energy efficiency needed to accommodate military personnel in a barrack environment. No other product has sufficient design and functionality. The unit is 21 3/8''W x 56 1/4''H x 25 3/8''D, .8 cu ft. freezer, 6.9 cu ft. refrigerator, .6 cu ft. microwave oven, consists of 600 watt microwave oven with turntable, auto defrost in refrigerator, push button defrost in freezer. The refrigerator/freezer compressor automatically cuts off when microwave oven is in use. The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 July 1995.
