Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Calgon Vestal Laboratories of St Louis, MO to provide ``liquid acidic detergents, liquid acid cleaner and liquid alkaline detergents to be used with existing Cage Wash System, manufactured by Girtron, MDL#80-0 and Tunnel Wash System, manufactured by Girtron, MDL#CT1530D/GD830. Contract will be written for the period ending 30 Sept 95 plus four (4) one year options: minimum essential characteristics for cleaning detergents include: free rinsing, safe on substrates, phosphate free, hard and soft water safe, low alkaline formula, non-flammable and biogradeable.
