J -- J -- LABOR TO SUPPORT MODIFICATIONS FOR F-14A TO B CONVERSION SOL N00019-94-G-0028 POC Contact, Lt. Alan Reyes, Phone (703)604-6100 NAVAIRSYSCOM intends to contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation, (NGC) Bethpage, NY 11714 for support in the production of time compliance requirement structural kit installations into specified F-14B upgrade aircraft located at Naval Aviation Depot Norfolk, VA. The work to be performed encompasses airframe changes (AFC) 776, 790, 802 and other structural defficiencies identified during the kit installations. Work effort is planned to commence Jul 1995 and be completed by Oct 1995. NGC is the sole manufacturer and designer of the F-14 aircraft and currently is the only source possessing the requisite engineering data, technical knowledge, and personnel that can complete the required task(s).
