material and equipment necessary or required to: Base 1) rennovate
facility 20028, including mechanical, electrical systems, architectural
finishes and elevator replacement, performance period 360 days; Base 2)
remove and replace existing chiller, facility 20028, performance period
- 180 days; Option 1) remove and replace existing manual elevator with
new automatic hydraulic unit, facility 20012, performance period - 180
days. Project may include hazardous material abatement. Project
requires structural changes to a historic concrete frame building.
Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued approx 95 Jul 12. All
responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which
shall be considered. No tel requests. Only written or faxed requests
received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Small and
disadvantaged firms are encouraged to participate as prime contractors
or as members of joint ventures with other small businesses and all
interested contractors are reminded that the successful contractor will
be expected to place subcontracts to the maximum practicable extent
with small and disadvantaged firms in accordance with the provisions of
Public Law 95-507. No tel requests. Only written requests received

documents must be accompanied by a non-refundable check or money order
in the amount of $15.00, made payable to Accounting and Finance. An
Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose
of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from
potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established
channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development
phase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use established
channels to request information, pose questions, and voice concerns
