The requirement is to furnish 1 biaxial extensometer for an existing in-plane biaxial test system with an option for 1 additional unit. The extensometer shall be capable of measuring biaxial strains of a cruciform plate specimen test under both elevated temperatures (up to 1200 degrees Celsius) and a vacuum (10e-6 torr). The extensometer shall fully interface with an Instron 8580 digital controller to allow for strain control operations. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio.
