SOURCES SOUGHT: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) is looking for a contractor to provide raw material sized to specific job orders for use in the manufacturing and fabrication mission on a just-in-time delivery basis. LEAD will provide a 40' by 150' building with cantilever racks for the contractor to store and secure material. LEAD will also provide use of a 6,000 pound electric Raymond sideloader forklift and facilities to charge the lift battery. Contractor will be responsible for utilities and cutting equipment. Hours of operation would be 0800-1700 hours Monday through Friday with optional Saturday hours. LEAD would order materials to be cut by the Contractor to meet the Government specification in varying sizes, lengths, widths and gauges. The raw materials will include those in the Federal Supply Class Codes 9505 through 9545 (i.e., steel; stainless steel; aluminum brass and copper from round, bar, rectangular, tubed, hexagon, coiled to flat including sheet; angle iron stock; channel stock; I-beam stock; and diamond plate). Contractor will be required to provide common materials within 1-3 days of request; special ordered items within 7 days of request.
