The work shall consist of but not limited to furnishing all plant, labor and material in performing all operations in connection with the removal of approximately 2500 feet of overhead three phase electrical distribution system, telephone cable and CATV lines and provide new systems in underground ducts. This is a firm fixed-price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The performance period will be 270 days. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SBD) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 10 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Only mail or facsimile requests for bid packages will be accepted.
