Z -- REPLACE KITCHEN CABINETS - SUNFLAKE SOL F3260595B0037. DUE 070395. Contact Sheryl Scheer at (701) 747-5305. Project includes but is not limited to providing all transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, labor and materials necessary for 100 kitchen units to be renovated with removal of existing cabinets, counters, vinyl flooring equipment. Walls and ceilings shall be painted; new sheet vinyl flooring and base shall be installed; new wall cabinets, base cabinets, and counters shall be installed. Remove exterior siding battens and window trim and remove damaged or warped siding sheathing from 6-plex and 8-plex building units. Replace damaged plywood panel siding and install new steel siding. Mechanical items shall include renovation of existing systems and upgrade, to include new garbage disposal units, double sinks, exhaust hood with shelf, waterline for future icemaker, and exterior water hydrants. Electrical items shall include renovation of existing systems and upgrade, to include smoke alarms for each floor of apartment units, exterior receptacles, and new kitchen lighting in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the Technical Provisions and Drawings for this project, JFSD# 943003. Plans and specifications for this project will be issued only on 3 1/2'' computer disk. Plans will be AutoCADD 12 files and specifications will be Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0 files. A list of suggested local firms able to print these documents will be available. The magnitude is between $1 Mil and $5 Mil. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 26 Jun 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 03 Jul 95. All requests must be in writing and must include the business size (small or large) and whether they are women owned or disadvantaged. (164)
