The purpose of this requirement is to provide the relevant information necessary for the Environmental Protection Agency to develop exposure assessments in order to fulfill the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Pollution Prevention Act. The contractor shall perform monitoring studies and provide reports to the Government sufficient to support the development of exposure assessments, which involves the development of innovative and creative procedures to assess exposure to clusters of chemicals. These contractor-provided reports shall be for either existing chemicals where the values obtained are estimates of actual exposures, or for new chemicals where the values obtained are estimates of potential future exposures. EPA anticipates the award of a level of effort type contract consisting of a base requirement plus four twelve-month options. Because of the high volume of calls anticipated on this procurement, phone calls requesting the RFP cannot be accepted.
